Little Riley Creek featured in film to premier this month

The Little Riley Creek is featured in a new film premiered later this month, created in part by the Blanchard River Watershed Partnership (BRWP), according to Lauren Sandhu, watershed coordinator.

“Conservation and Agriculture: Where Land Meets Water” will premiere at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26,  on Zoom.  The video will be released for public viewing after the premiere.

The video project is a collaboration between BRWP and the West Central Ohio Land Conservancy (WCOLC). It features farmland, conservation practices and waterways in Allen and Hancock Counties.

Sweeping footage of the Little Riley Creek and Tiderishi Creek are featured in the video, along with interviews with individuals who represent the BRWP and the WCOLC.

Viewers will learn how farmers and landowners benefit from conservation practices while improving the water quality and landscapes of northwest Ohio.
