Save the Date: July 13 is 10th Ride to Remember
The 10th annual Bluffton Ride to Remember is Saturday, July 13 beginning at 601 N Main St, Bluffton Community (at the corner of Main and Snider Rd., formerly The Centre).
The event will be held as an in-person ride but will also include an option to ride on your own time at any location. The in-person ride will take cyclists through the Village of Bluffton, Ohio and the surrounding countryside. This year there are loops through the villages of Gilboa, Ottawa, Rawson and other nearby towns.
The first 250 registered riders to check in will receive a cinch sack filled with items from local businesses and a lunch coupon. A commemorative T-shirt will be offered for purchase during registration.
REGISTRATION AND INFORMATION
1. Register online. Registration may be done with your smart phone on the day of the event, but you may experience a delay. Please register in advance and get the lower price.
2. Mass starts. There will be two mass starts this year. The 7 a.m. group start will be for riders doing the 124 mile ride. The 8 a.m. mass start will be for other riders. The ride opens at 6:30 a.m., with the last start at 9 a.m. In addition to the mass starts, riders can start when they are ready. Routes close at 4 p.m.
3. GPS maps available for routes.
4. Rest stop snacks. Rest stop snacks. Riders will receive water and snack cups.
5. Emergency rider pick-up. Support vehicles will be on the routes offering water and support. Riders requiring a pick-up will need to call for a ride.
