The event was during the Shirley's Nov. 5 customer appreciation day. So, sit back and enjoy the show. (It's better if you have some popcorn in your lap.)
Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio will will honor veterans who are residents at both Bluffton campuses with a ceremony at 1:30 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 11.
The ceremony is presented by the Bluffton American Legion Post #382. The Mennonite Memorial Home ceremony will be held in the chapel and Maple Crest ceremony in the Patio Room.

Two life-long Bluffton volunteers will be honored during this year's Blaze of Lights.
John Murray, long-time Bluffton resident and member of the Bluffton sesquicentennial committee, will be the 2011 Blaze of Lights parade marshal, according to Terry Mullenhour, chairperson of the Bluffton Village Cultural Affairs Committee.
The Blaze is Saturday, Nov. 26. This year's parade is at 5 p.m. The Ream lights turn on at 7 p.m.
Freshman Taylor Fultz (Camden/Preble Shawnee) was recently named first team All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference for the 2011 women's soccer season.
The winner of Week 9 (Icon's first contest of the season) of the Icon NFL Football Contest is Duane Bollenbacher. Duane accumlated 8 points this week.

The Bluffton Athletic Boosters will hold a meet the team spaghetti dinner from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 19, in the middle school gym.
Persons may dine in or carryout. Meet the athletes begins at 5 p.m.
Tickets are $6 each, which includes spaghetti, salad, bread, dessert and beverage. Check with a Bluffton athlete for tickets or contact the High School or Middle School office.
