You've got to hand it to the Reinekes. When they're out, they're out in full force. In fact, there were three generations of the family at Saturday's Rhodes State PTA Club's Run for the Health of It 5K. Gma and Gpa Reineke (aka Sam and Janette) walked the route with their granddaughter, Joscelin (Elisha and Ben's daughter), while their daughter, Becky, daughter-in-law, Elisha, and granddaughter, Delaney (daughter of Elisha), ran the course.

It runs in the family

Three Bluffton runners were among winners in the Rhodes State Physical Therapist Assistant Club "Run for the Health of It!" The 3.1 mile run was April 17 on the James A. Rhodes State/OSU Lima campus. From left are Elisha Reineke, her daughter, Delaney Reineke, and sister-in-law, Becky Boblitt. Each of the three finished among the top three in their age group.

Yeah, we know. It's not a vanity plate. Even so, we've searched for "BHS" plates for a long time, have seen several, but never spotted one in Bluffton. Until now. Too bad the Ohio license bureau wouldn't make BHS plates available exclusively to Bluffton residents. That would make life interesting.

April's reds are in bloom

Late April can only mean firebushes in Bluffton are the next flowering shrub on the list bare their flowers. Consistent warm weather this spring had unfolded an array of flowering trees, shrubs and flowers in the community.
