FROM ADA ICON - You can watch a free outdoor movie in Ada on Friday night.
That's right. And, Woody and Buzz Lightyear will be there.
The movie, Toy Story, will be shown on a 40-foot screen on the Ohio Northern University tundra. This is the second of three free outdoor summer movies sponsored by The Freed Center for the Performing Arts and Bluffton Hospital.
The movie starts at dusk. ReStore will sell pop, popcorn and candy during the movie. Families are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the movie under the stars.
FROM THE ADA ICON - Patriotic classics, American standards, and popular movie and Broadway tunes will highlight the Lima Symphony Orchestra’s Fourth of July “Patriotic Pops” celebration on the campus of Ohio Northern University. The event is free and open to the public.
The concert will take place on the sculpture mall east of McIntosh Center between Presser and Weber halls. This will be a fun-filled family event exploding with patriotic music and a tribute to our armed services. The concert begins at 7 p.m.
Swiss Day, a program of the Swiss Community Historical Society, holds its annual carry-in dinner and program 12:30 p.m., Sunday, June 28, at Ebenezer Mennonite Church, 8905 Columbus Grove Road.

The band “Silver Threads among the Gold” will provide background music during the dinner.
Wheels will be turning as vintage and classic cars cruise to Richland Manor's Car Show Friday, June 26, from 4-7 p.m. Trophies will be awarded to the top five cars/truck and best motorcycle.

The Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure (GOBA) is not the only bike event in Bluffton this summer.
On Saturday, July 11, Bluffton is host to the inaugural Ride to Remember. The bike ride offers routes of several distances and provides options for family rides all the way to a 100-mile ride.
