The Bluffton Shuffleboard Club will host a free demonstration/open
house for adults interested in learning the game of shuffleboard or
more about the Bluffton Club Saturday, May 16, at 10 a.m. on the courts in Buckeye Park off Spring Street.
The club meets regularly throughout the summer for informal mixers on
Mondays and Saturdays at 10 a.m., Thursdays at 4 p.m., and hosts
seven tournaments during the season.

Friends of the Library will hold the spring library book sale May 13-16 at the Bluffton Public Library, 145 S. Main St. Among the many books for sale will be history, romance, mystery and children's books. Prices are by donation.

Silver Threads among the Gold, a group of Bluffton-area musicians, will perform at 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 12, in the next Bluffton Town Hall Concert Series, according to Wendy Chappell-Dick.
The Bluffton Cultural Affairs Committee sponsors the series. The program is free and open to the public.
Musicians include Jan Wiebe, Steve and Monica Harnish, Teri Friesen, Betty Sommer, Bruce Chesser, Ray Person, Jason Frisch and Chappell-Dick.
The Gardeners of America Club meeting is Tuesday May 5, at the Bluffton Public Library at 6:30 p.m.
Ray Person of the Cooperative Farm in Pandora will present a power point program on gardening and raising livestock.
"Join us to be inspired and educated by his wealth of experience so that our efforts in our gardens might result in better outcomes. Come with questions," said Anita Darnell of the club.
The Ohio Northern University Department of Music presents the ONU Jazz Band on Thursday, April 30, at 7:30 p.m. in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts.
The ONU Jazz Band, under the direction of Bluffton High School band director David Sycks, will take a stroll down memory lane as it explores “ONU Jazz Through the Years.”
The Cory-Rawson Impressions will present An Evening at the Cabaret on Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9. The show takes place in the Cory-Rawson High School Gym at 6:30 pm. General Admission $6.00 both evenings.
A dinner theater is offered on May 8 only, and includes a catered dinner of salad,
brisket, rosemary potatoes, green beans, dinner roll, and dessert for $12.
