BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University baseball squad took to Memorial Field to face off against Wilmington College in their home opener on a frigid Saturday, March 17. The Beavers couldn’t muster up much offense as they took a 1-0 loss in game one and a 3-1 setback in game two, dropping to 8-4 on the season.
Aaron Williams, A 2005 Bluffton University alumnus, founder of Unbound Holdings and CEO of EkoMovers, will present the Forum, “The True Price of Entrepreneurship," at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 20 in Yoder Recital Hall.
The Cincinnati business owner, real estate investor and Bluffton alumnus will discuss the many ways business ownership impacts communities and the world by creating jobs and opportunities.
Williams, a native of Lima, studied business administration at Bluffton.
University’s instrumental chamber ensembles will present their first featured recital at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 22.
Four ensembles will provide the music for the evening which will feature selections such as “Duo No. 1 for Clarinet and Bassoon, WoO 27” by Ludwig van Beethoven, “Pastoral” by Vincent Persichetti and an arrangement of “Adagio” from Symphony No. 3 by Camille Saint-Saens.
Bluffton University will host “March Madrigal Madness,” a concert featuring the University Chorale and Camerata Singers at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 18, in Yoder Recital Hall.
Join us for March Madrigal Madness! This concert of secular music will trace the history of the madrigal and will feature compositions by Hans Leo Hassler, Thomas Morley, Orlando di Lasso and John Dowland.
