Bluffton's Et Cetera Shop, 111 S. Main St., will hold a "back to school sale," from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 4. The sale features a "kid's overflowing clothing sale," Chrissy Lugibihl, store manager, told The Icon.
All clothing is $1 each, or $7 for a bag. The sale will be set up in the alley between Et Cetera and Edward Jones.
Et Cetera reminds Icon viewers to check out the children's book sale at Book Reviews, 123 S. Main St., will be be held during the Aug. 4 sale hours.
A severe weather front has moved through parts of Ohio July 26
causing widespread damage and customer outages.
As of 7:15 p.m., just over 59,000 customers are without power. Most of these customers are located in the New Philadelphia, Columbus, and Newark areas.
Bluffton's Pony League baseball recently won the Northwest Pony League title. With a final record of 8-2, the Bluffton Diamond Sports team played games during the months of June and July.
The Northwest Pony League is made up of teams from Elida, Lima Senior, Ada, Upper Scioto Valley, Waynesfield, Lima Central Catholic, Perry and Bluffton.
Bluffton beat Waynesfield and LCC during tournament play to earn the first seed spot going into the final game. Bluffton came out on top in the championship game with a final score of 16-8.

Maple Crest Senior Living, Bluffton, will begin offering a series of buffets starting Sunday, Aug. 5, according to Daren Lee, director of Maple Crest.
The menu for Aug. 5 will include tossed salad, breadsticks, chicken parmesan, cheese tortellini with basil pesto sauce, roasted asparagus, homemade angel food cake, coffee and iced tea.
The buffets will be offered in the Patio Room at Maple Crest from noon to 2 p.m. The meals is open to all adults 55 and older at a cost of $5 per person.

There's still time to register for various classes through the Bluffton Public Library while the Mobile Computer Lab is on Main Street.
The Mobile Technology Training Center (bus) is a 35-foot bus equipped with 10 networked PC's, digital display, printer, air conditioning and is handicapped accessible.

Rick Skilliter, Bluffton Police Chief, released police reports of the first six months of 2012 to The Icon.
Bluffton's police department has had 2,851 calls for service during the first six months of 2012. Of those, 949 were calls for building checks.
The department had 87 traffic citations given. In its FBI Uniform Crime Reporting data, Bluffton had 154 reports.
