Why are medical experts extremely worried about the COVID-19 virus?
A video, now on the Icon, created by two Bluffton residents helps answer that question.
Created by Ross Kauffman, an epidemiologist and public health professor at Ohio Northern University, and Tobias S. Buckell, the video explains how COVID-19 is different from a flu, and why medical experts are extremely worried.
Sophomore Brandon James (Waynesfield/ Waynesfield-Goshen) capped off his 2020 Indoor Track and Field season by being named NCAA Division III All-Region on Monday, March 9. To secure all-region honors, an athlete must be in the top five in the region for his or her event.
James finished fifth in the Great Lakes Region in the heptathlon with a score of 4,292. He put up that score at the All-Ohio meet where he was victorious while establishing a new school record in the process. James had lifetime bests in six out of the seven heptathlon events at the All-Ohio competition.

As a parent, one of your top concerns is making sure your child is healthy and safe. That's why it's important to take the time to learn about croup and how it can affect your child.
Croup is marked by a "barking" cough in children up to age 5. Most children recover from this viral illness within a week or so, but serious cases can cause severe symptoms like trouble breathing. Call your child's health care provider if you are concerned about any symptoms you're seeing.

March is National Nutrition Month and this year’s theme is “Eat Right, Bite by Bite.” Sometimes it can be overwhelming with what to do first when you want to change your eating habits.
Simply start by trying to eat more variety. You can focus on one food group at a time. For example, think about some different vegetables or fruits you’ve never tried before.
