Due to the virus, school closing for 3 weeks, and OSU regulations, Bluffton Boys, and Girls 4H Club will not be having any meetings until May 15 a 5:45 p.m. in Mrs. Moser's room. Anyone wanting to join our club can call the Allen County extension office at 419-879-9108.
In response to COVID-19 and the current order on mass gatherings we have made the following decisions at this time:
1) Regular season games for indoor soccer and flag football scheduled for Saturday will still be played. We ask that spectators are limited to 1 per athlete. We know this isn't ideal but it's the only way to stay under the mass gatherings guidelines while still allowing the athletes to play.
With the closing of schools in Ohio, we are taking the precaution of closing our doors. Starting Tuesday, March 17, our front door will be closed until such a time as the governor feels it is safe to continue operating normally.
The staff will continue to come in to answer phones and try to meet the needs of our members.
Please be advised that all public events scheduled to take place in Mennonite Memorial Home, Willow Ridge, Maple Crest or Hilty Home have been cancelled through March 31.
Beginning Sunday, March 15, Interstate 75 at state Route 696, near the village of Beaverdam, will have nightly lane closures from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. to set up the work zone.
New and returning vendors are invited to a meeting with Bluffton Farmers Market manager Greg Probst at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31.
The meeting will take place on the third floor of Bluffton Town Hall, 154 N. Main St. That evening, vendors will learn about promotional opportunities and may reserve full-year spaces at a discounted price.
Located in the Citizens National Bank parking lot in downtown Bluffton, the Bluffton Farmers Market is open on Saturday mornings from 8:30 a.m. - noon, May through October.
