Bluffton men drop 3-0 decision to Little Giants

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. - The Bluffton University men's soccer team (0-1) fell to Wabash (1-0) by a 3-0 final in the 2014 season opener after lightning ended the contest with just over five minutes to play.

Senior Peter Carlson (Toledo/Springfield) and junior Adrian Ramirez (Archbold) both put shots on frame, but Wabash finished with a marked 17-9 edge in attempts, including 9-2 on target.

The Kyle Cutnaw football coaching era launched with a huge win for Bluffton High School, as the Pirated defeated Cory-Rawson 49-0 on the Hornet's home field.

Sand dreams

It takes a class of Bluffton Child Development Center students to build a sand castle. on Aug. 27 these Kindergarteners were hard at work in the BCDC sandbox building a structure to reach the clouds.

Everett Collier talks about his cross-country bike trip at Sept. 12 chamber breakfast

Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce members will hear about Everett Collier’s cross-country bike trip this summer. The 3,600-mile trip was part of the 7th annual Fuller Center Bike Adventure. The trip from Atlantic City, N.J. to Astoria, Ore., lasted from June 5 to Aug. 10.

Collier is the guest speaker of the Friday, Sept. 12, chamber breakfast, which launches the 2014-15 breakfast series.
