Stop in at The Icon Grill

Icon reader Todd Gratz spotted the Icon Grill (GR LL sic) while in Seattle, Wash., recently. Always seeking new income streams, The Icon has considered opening Icon Grills nationwide. The Seattle site is an test kitchen. We will continue to keep viewers updated on our extensive ventures.

Bluffton Hospital’s Garau Street entrance now closing at 5:30 p.m.

Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 2, the Garau Street entrance at Bluffton Hospital will be closing at 5:30 p.m. The entrance was previously open until 8 p.m.

Patients, family and visitors are encouraged to use the emergency room entrance when entering the building after 5:30 p.m.

Register now for MOPS mom-to-mom sale

 

The MOPS Mom to Mom sale is holding registration for tables at their upcoming event, which will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on September 13 at Ebenezer Mennonite Church.


Participants can register for 3 rectangular or 4 round tables for $15, or 2 round tables for $7. To reserve a space, call Jennifer at 419-296-4835 or Denise at 419-306-7781.

Pirate 2014-15 sports passes on sale at BHS

Bluffton school sports passes for 2014-15 are available at Bluffton High School. Prices follow:

All Sports Pass $100: Gets you into all home sporting events throughout the current school year including reserved Varsity Football and Boys' basketball games.

Fall Sports Pass $30: Gets you into all home volleyball and boys' and girls' soccer games.

Student Pass $25: Punch card that is good for 10 home sporting events throughout the school year.

Runners on your mark! BFR 5K Aug. 30

There's still time to enter BFR Sports and Fitness 5K Run or Walk, which features a Pump and Run on Saturday, Aug. 30.

It was wet and wild at the Bluffton McDonald's on Wednesday afternoon. The employees completed an ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and here's proof. In addition to completing the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, Lewis Family McDonald's contributed $500 to the ALS cause. CLICK TO WATCH THE VIDEO.
