Bill Fridley was a Pandora-Gilboa HS graduate

Billy Dean Fridley, 81 of Pandora, died at 2:48 p.m. Oct. 22, 2012, at St. Rita’s Ambulatory Care Center, Glandorf. 

He was born July 20, 1931, in Bluffton to Clarence and Edith (West) Fridley.  On June 5, 1953 he married Janice Diller and she survives.

Billy retired from Ford Motor Company, Lima.  He also had a craft shop along with his wife.  He was a member of Pandora Missionary Church, and attended Missionary Church of Ottawa and Leipsic Church of the Nazarene.  He was a U.S. Army veteran. He graduated from Pandora-Gilboa High School.

Survivors also include three daughters Connie (Kent) Badertscher of Elkhart, Ind., Pam (Reuben) Rodriquez of Leipsic, Sandy Hartzot of Lima; a son Ronald (Tamara) Fridley of Ada; 11 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and a sister Maxine McCafferty of Lima.
A daughter, Becky Fridley, preceded him in death.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. 

Pastors Sam Ocstein, Chris Riffle and Marshall Metzger officiating.  Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery near Mt. Cory where military rites will be held. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
