Book ReViews host to genealogy and family history roundtable discussion Saturday

Book ReViews, 123 S. Main St., Bluffton, will hold a genealogy and family history roundtable discussion with Joanne Vercler Niswander from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 20, according to Dr. Christina Walton, manager.

"Discover more about genealogy, also called family history, the study of families and the tracing of their lineages and history in this roundtable discussion of methods used by Joanne Niswander, author of four books on family research," said Walton.

Participants may share examples of their family research methods and gain ideas from other participants. There will be examples of blending photos with family memorabilia to create albums.

Participants may utilize resources on family history databases, records from birth to death and life in between, locating ancestors, creating family trees and using online sources. Book ReViews will supply books and resources.
