Bluffton Presbyterian Christmas Eve service filled with carols

Bluffton Presbyterian Church, 112 N. Main St., will have a carol-filled night on Christmas Eve.

The 7 p.m. worship service will be a candlelight service of lessons and carols.  

Preceding the service (6:30 p.m.), will be a Prelude of Carols, featuring the “Wonder of Worship” young women’s chorus, and “Presbyterian Polyphony,” an adult ensemble. The prelude will feature solo verses by Danielle and Samantha Rhonemus, Sarah Gillen and Megan Sycks, various instrumental contributions by Dave Sycks, Jane Sycks, Emily Sycks, and Bob Hursh, keyboards by Pastor Dave, percussion by Tanya Best and vocal solos by Julia Szabo and Don Brauen.

During the service the Bluffton Church Choir will sing, under the direction of Linda Sycks, with Jayne McGarrity on piano and organ, as well as oboe solo by Jerry Szabo, and “O Holy Night,” sung by Julia Szabo.
