Oct. 9 benefit for Dennis and Chastity Gallant at Pleasant View UMC
Pleasant View United Methodist Church, Bluffton, will host a soup benefit on Sunday, Oct. 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The benefit will include numerous soups, breads and desserts along with drink. It is by donation. Face painting and animal balloons will be available for the children during the benefit.
The benefit is for the family of Dennis and Chassity Gallant, former Bluffton residents. Dennis was the former mayor of Bluffton. On Friday, July 1, 2016, a house fire resulted in significant loss of personal belongings and damage to the house. Benefit proceeds will be used to replace items that were lost.
The church is located at 300 Township Road 37, Bluffton. The public is invited.
