Young artists make their mark
Pablo Picasso once wrote “Every child is an artist.” With that thought in mind, this week is your final chance to view some amazing art by young artists from Bluffton and surrounding communities.
“Make Your Mark” student art showcase 2019 is currently on exhibit at the Bluffton Public Library. The exhibit closes at the end of the month.
Artists range in age from early elementary to seniors in high school. Media mainly focuses on pencil, colored pencil, acrylic, photography, fiber and sculpture.
Art teachers and homeschooling parents involved in the show include: Nicole Anderson, Sarah Bergstrand, Vickie Garmon, Jammie Halker, Maegan Rohdes, Kris Sherer, Ann-Marie Spelman, Ali Verhoff and Shawna Yoder.
Following are a dozen art pieces by Bluffton students.
