Ultimate car seat guide recommended by Bluffton police

Preventing injuries to children riding in cars was on the agenda of Police Chief Ryan Burkholder at the June 8 meeting of the Village of Bluffton council. Burkholder shared a Safe Kids Worldwide brochure in the council packet and reminded listeners of the importance of buying and installing the right car seat for children.

The website provides instructions on selecting the appropriate rear-facing, forward-facing and booster seats, which are required by law in all states.
Installation and fit tips are also provided, as well as information on when to change the type of seat being used.
