Join local author Judy Clemens for a NaNoWriMo Kick-Off Workshop on Nov. 1 at 6:30 p.m.! Clemens will discuss her writing experiences, and take registrants through some writing prompts to prepare for NaNoWriMo, a challenge in which she herself has participated! Her most recent book, Tag You're Dead: A Thriller, was published under the author name J. C. Lane, and Kirkus Reviewspraises it as a "fun ride" by a "veteran of several genres."

The Holiday Gift Silent Auction is Nov. 1through Nov. 23 With over 40 different packages to offer, this is a place to check some gifts off of your holiday list and benefit your library (and your community).
You want to put stop at the Bluffton Public Library on your Thursday Halloween schedule. That's because Bluffton library teen volunteers host their annual haunted library fun house.
The evening includes crafts and snacks, refreshments, games and coloring opportunities plus a “Scare Zone.”
And, the Bluffton Icon photographer, Fred-in-Stein, will take photos of Halloweeners for use on the Icon.

Bluffton Public Library is still seeking donations for its November 2016 Holiday Gift Silent Auction. The deadline to donate has been postponed to Wednesday, October 19th, and with an average of over 7,000 visitors each month, it's suggested to make the best use of your donations and send up to 30 brochures/business cards. All proceeds for this month-long event go directly into the community in the form of library programs and services.
