And, the Bluffton Public Library invites you to make "and take" your own art anytime on Friday, March 31. It's the final opportunity in the "Make and Take Art" option during the month.
Here's how it works:
The library has stations set up throughout the main floor for budding artists to create a piece of art. The stations are available all day and are open to patrons of all ages.
When you complete your work, you may take it home a frame it.
If any of those words and phrases attracts your attention, Bluffton Public Library invites you to a brown bag business development lunch at 12:30 p.m., Friday, March 24.
According to Jessica Hermiller, library administrator, patrons are encouraged to spend your lunch at the library.
“Bring your packed lunch – we’ll have some snacks, too – and peruse the library’s business section offerings while learning how book discussions can help increase intelligence and communication,” she said.
On Thursday, March 30, at 3:30 p.m. Janette Reineke will present a Children’s Art Lesson for ages 8-10.
In this art class, children will have a creative experience using the Impressionistic technique of French painter Claude Monet (1840-1926). Participants will use short, quick brush strokes with watercolors and paint a seascape.
Registration is required, and the final day to register is March 23.
Spend your lunch hour at the library on Friday, March 24 at 12:30. Talk about networking and discussing new trends, future planning, and ways to make business in Bluffton even better.
