The sweet orphaned Truehart sisters, who don’t realize they’re identical twins until the nearly blind Lyla Sol points it out, were left in a wicker basket on the boarding school steps 17 years ago.
The letter left with them revealed they are the heirs to a fortune in — Wait! That part of the letter is missing!
The band Sour Cherry Pie performs at 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 10, on the next Town Hall Concert Series, according to Wendy Chappell-Dick.
The concert is in the third floor of the town hall.
“They sing songs of justice with a religious base and a dose of humor that can help others see the world with a slightly different tone,” said Chappell-Dick about the band.
Phil Hart of the band, started writing folk songs in the early ‘70s, influenced by Dylan, Ochs, Paxton, Prine, and many others. He continues to create tunes that carry thoughtful stories about “real stuff.”
The ONU Astronomy Club will host a free event for the public at the ONU Observatory on Friday, Nov 4, from 8-10 p.m., according to Dr. Jason Pinkney, professor of Physics and Astronomy.
The theme is "The Blue Planets: Uranus and Neptune." The outermost two Jovian planets both have bluish hues attributed to methane in their atmospheres. Each planet has an interesting history and unique characteristics. Uranus is tilted about 98 degrees onto its side so it has the most extreme seasons.

Bluffton resident Barbara Plaugher, RN, BNS and MSN, retired, will sign her book "Perseverance: Mission to the World."
The book is an account of 20 mission trips through Volunteer Optometric Service to Humanity (VOSH).
Plaugher notes that the book offers several humorous and adventurous experiences of a nurse who desires to help others."
