BFR accepting teams for tip-off basketball festival

 

BFR Sports and Fitness is currently accepting registrations for the Annual Tip-Off Basketball Festival for boy and girls 5th and 6th grade, accoridng to Carole Enneking. 

The boys' festival is Dec. 9 and the girls'  Dec. 8. Cost is $50 per team with each team guaranteed three games. Please visit BFR’s website for more information at www.bfronline.com or call 419-358-4150 for more information. A minimum of four teams is required to maintain a division.

Registration deadline is Saturday Dec. 1.

ArtSpace/Lima announces the second in its fall series of Soup and Salad Lectures, Industry in Art, in connection with the Industrial Ohio exhibit now in the Ellen Nelson Gallery.

"Wreck-It-Ralph" shown at Shannon November 2-8

Peter Suter of Shannon Theatre announced that "Wreck-It-Ralph" (PG) and will be shown at the theatre from November 2-8.

Show times are every evening at 7:00 and 9:30 PM with Saturday and Sunday matinees at 1:30 and 4:00 PM. All shows are 2D.

Shannon Theatre will be celebrating Customer Appreciation Weekend November 2-4.

Local artists in "Industrial Ohio" exhibit opening Nov. 2 in Lima

ArtSpace/Lima announces the opening of Industrial Ohio in The Ellen Nelson Gallery, Friday, Nov. 2.

Industrial Ohio is a thematic exhibit, featuring 27 works by 14 artists which focus on the multiple ways in which artists interpret, envision, or relate to the notion of industry, manufacturing, and agribusiness.
