Krysti's Music Studio annual performathon Campus Life/YFC fundraiser Aug. 18

Krysti's Music Studio students present their annual performathon fundraiser for Bluffton-Pandora Campus Life/YFC later this month, according to Krysti Schey.
The event is from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 18, at the Bluffton Campus Life building, 111 W. College Ave., Bluffton. Persons attending may come and go as they like.

"Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days" shown at Shannon August 3-9

Peter Suter of Shannon Theatre announced that "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days" (PG) will be shown at the theatre from August 3-9.
Show times follow:
Each evening at 7 and 9:30 PM with Saturday and Sunday matinees at 1:30 and 4 PM.

Big Band benefit dance for Honor Flight Aug. 18

Group offers free flights to Washington, D.C., for war veterans
Night Jazz and AMVETS #21 will present a benefit dance for Honor Flight of Northwest Ohio on Saturday, Aug. 18, at 7 p.m. at the Findlay Senior Center, 339 E Melrose Ave.
Alyssia Diller of Bluffton, plays trombone with the band.
Admission to the event is free, though a free will offering will be accepted. Proceeds from the event benefit Honor Flight of Northwest Ohio. The band will perform hits from many musical eras, focusing on swing music of the 1930s and '40s.

St. John's UCC ice cream social Aug. 5

St. John's United Church of Christ will host an ice cream social in Oppermann Hall on Sunday, Aug. 5 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

"Ice Age: Continental Drift" and "Ted" shown at Shannon July 27 - August 2

Peter Suter of Shannon Theatre announced that "Ice Age: Continental Drift" (PG) and Ted (R) will be shown at the theatre from July 27 - August 2.
Show times follow:
Ice Age: Continental Drift (2D only) - Each evening at 7 PM with Saturday and Sunday matinees at 1:30 and 4 PM.
Ted - Each evening at 9:30 PM.
