Who is that little princess standing at the front door?
A community-wide Halloween party is planned at BFR Sunday, Oct. 21, from 2-4 p.m. A variety of games, activities, and crafts will be offered for children of all ages, according to Carole Enneking, BFR director.
Non-scary costumes, while not required, will set the holiday theme. A costume contest will be held at 3 p.m. with divisions for young children, older children and family units.
Tickets are still available for the Bluffton Center for Entrepreneur dinner and art auction fundraiser.
The event Saturday, Oct. 27, at The Center, 600 N. Main St., Bluffton. The evening's schedule follows:
5:30 p.m. art preview
6:15 p.m. dinner
7-9 p.m. art auction

BFR will host a free Halloween party (scare free) on Sunday, Oct. 21, from 2-4 p.m. Games and crafts take place from 2-3 p.m. and costume judging is at 3 p.m.
BFR invites area businesses and organizations to contribute. There are several ways to contribute:
1 - Donation of prizes or candy for booths
2- Sets up and provides prizes for your choice of booth (BFR has ideas and materials)
3- Provides the cookies and/or drink for snack table
Trinity Lutheran School, Jenera, will hold an American Red Cross blood drive from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 27.
Blood Donors Must:
• Be healthy
• Be at least 17 years old in most states, or 16 years old with parental consent if allowed by state law
• Weigh at least 110 lbs. Additional weight requirements apply for donors 18 years old and younger and all high school donors.
The Village Cut 'n' Curl and friends will hold a community Bingo benefit for the Bluffton Relay for Life. The event is Friday, Nov. 9, at the Bluffton Middle School cafetorium. Doors open at 5 p.m. and Bingo is played from 6 to 9 p.m.
Food concessions available. All proceeds go to Bluffton's Relay. There will be Bingo, special games and prizes.
