Local artist Oscar Velasquez will offer a second drawing and painting course at Bluffton Public Library for youth and adults.

Youth classes (grade school through junior high) will meet at the library on Wednesdays for five weeks from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., beginning April 6. Adult classes will meet at the library for five weeks on Thursdays from 6-8 p.m., beginning April 7. No prior experience is necessary.

Have you ever wondered how to arrange a bunch of flowers? Bluffton Public Library will be offering a fresh floral arranging program hosted by Doug and Renee Smith of Panache on Main Street in Bluffton. The program will take place in the lower level of the library on Tuesday, April 12, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Each participant will receive free fresh flowers and tips and tricks for arranging fresh flowers. The workshop is free, but space is limited.

April is a very active month at the library. Among the events planned is the Friends of the Library book sale, April 9-16.

Pride and Prejudice is this week's Jane Austen film show at the Bluffton Public Library. The show is at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 22. The film showing is part of Bluffton University' Institute for Learning in Retirement (ILR) and the Friends of the Library.A discussion of the film will follow its showing.

Mothers of Pre-Schoolers, (MOPS), will hold a mom-to-mom sale for mothers and expecting mothers. The sale is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, March 19, at Ebenezer Mennonite Church, 8905 Columbus Grove Road.

The event is a huge garage sale sponsored by the Ebenezer Mennonite MOPS. Admission is $2 and proceeds benefit the Bluffton Food Pantry.

Effective immediately, The Inn at Ohio Northern University offers Third Thursday Tea at the Inn every third Thursday of the month from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Inn. The garden courtyard is open for seating (weather permitting).

Third Thursday Tea at the Inn will feature a specific tea and dessert but will include a variety of teas and pastries. So that The Inn may plan perfectly for your experience, reservations are requested.
