Summer Tee Ball registration is still open at BFR. Boys who will be ages 5 or 6 and girls who will be ages 5, 6 or 7 by June 1 are welcome to register.
BFR Tee Ball will be held at the Bluffton village park on Tuesday and
Thursday nights beginning July 6 and continuing to Aug. 5. Cost per
child is $30 ($15 BFR member) and includes a team t-shirt.
It's a ways off, but in September Bluffton will be visited by several hundred bicyclists. Paul Craun of the Hancock County Handibars biking organization, said Bluffton on the final leg of a 100-mile bike event on Sunday, Sept. 12.
The bikers' route starts and ends at The Cube in Findlay. Bikers will leave The Cube at 7 a.m. Using backroads, their 50-mile point is Arlington. Their 75-mile point is Bluffton. In Bluffton, they plan to have a rest break at the village park.
Blanchard Valley Hospital Rehab & Sports Medicine is sponsoring the first "Flirt with Dirt" trail run/walk 5K on Saturday, July 17, at Riverbend Recreational Area in Findlay. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m., the trail race will start at 9 a.m. and the walk will begin at 9:10 a.m.
The Bluffton Town Hall Concert Series will feature Bryan Moyer-Suderman performing at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, June 17, in the town hall.
The performance is free and open to the public with donations accepted.
Moyer-Suderman started his music career as a college student in a Latin American Folk Band, and since then he has traveled many roads as a musician, touring across North America and performing around the world.
Become a runner at BFR! A new program is offered for people interested in training to complete a 5K. BFR's Walk to Run program includes 12 weeks of preparation for the 3.1 (5K) mile goal.
Groups meet at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays for warm-up, walking/running intervals, stretching, and lots of group support.

Rhythm in Motion Dance Centre, of Ada, is holding its third annual spring recital, Saturday June 12 at Ada High School. Shows are at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.
The theme of "Games" encompasses playground games to board games to sports. There will also be a special opening number honoring the memory of Michael Jackson.
