The Bluffton Ride to Remember committee would like to thank all the Bluffton businesses that provided promotional items for the cinch sacks each rider received.
The sacks were full of pens, pencils, sticky note pads, water, popcorn, chap sticks, eye glass cleaning cloths, a keychain bottle opener, highlighters, bookmarks, tea and loads of coupons with a value of more than $65 off purchases at businesses here in Bluffton. One rider said it was the best cinch sack he had ever received.

Our thanks and appreciation goes to Bluffton for its participation in the America in Bloom awards program. Special thanks go to Becky Ramey, Susie Stratton and all of the Bluffton in Bloom members, staff, participants, sponsors, and volunteers for organizing a remarkable tour and meetings on July 19-20, 2018.
We have enjoyed meeting and spending time with all of you as you showcased all of the reasons Bluffton has to be proud.
Most Americans feel strongly about getting big and dark money out of politics. A recent survey on democracy found that 77 percent agreed that “the laws enacted by our national government these days mostly reflect what powerful special interests and their lobbyists want.” Only 17 percent chose the alternative statement: “The laws enacted by our national government these days mostly reflect what the people want.”

Our American Legion Post 0382 in Bluffton, Ohio, exists to support fellow veterans, their families, and our community.
In the last nine years we have donated an average of $7,000 to local community and veteran organizations. This is from our annual golf scramble.
Our donation this year is over $8,000. Basically, we see all levels of involvement from our members.
Some attend all our functions while others pick and choose their involvement because of commitments to other activities or personal family responsibilities.
