Kyle Stover, Bluffton University student, goes UnMasqued

Standing in line, trumpet in hand, mask on, Bluffton University student Kyle Stover, looks out the long tunnel of Lucas Oil Stadium at the crowd of thousands.

He is surrounded by 150 of his newest friends who have shared an experience with him this summer unlike any other. And now, they are about to start their last experience as a group together.

Two ONU professors who live in Bluffton author personalized medicine textbook

Three members of the Ohio Northern University Raabe College of Pharmacy,- two who are Bluffton residents - along with a member of the Purdue University faculty, have collaborated to author a textbook titled “Pharmacogenetics, Kinetics, and Dynamics for Personalized Medicine.”

Owen’s parents, Chad and Melissa Weaver,  are trying to obtain a wheelchair van. As part of Mobility Awareness Month, three such vans will be given away. Owen’s parents have a chance to win one of the three because Owen was selected to participate in the van project.

Although I know the answer to this question, what year did you graduate from Bluffton High School, Alan?

1968.

You worked in Bluffton for several years. Tell us about that? 

I worked with my dad, Wayne Amstutz in the insurance business for 10 years and owned the Brass Buckle for two years.

When did you move to Dublin?

I began working in Columbus in April 1985 and the family moved in August 1985. At that time Dublin was a little larger than Bluffton.

Richland Manor advisory board meets

The board meets four times a year and hears updates from the administrator and staff members. The board also provides feedback to the administrator and staff from the community that Richland Manor serves.

The most recent meeting of the board was earlier this month.
