The Board of Commissioners of the Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District will hold a special Board meeting on Wed. Dec. 7, 2022 at 9:00 am at the Park Conference Room,1682 Slabtown Rd., Lima, OH 45801.
The board will be amending resolutions that passed in October and November for renewal levies that will be on the ballot in spring 2023.
The park district owns and manages Motter Metro Park, 10740 Columbus Grove-Bluffton Rd, Bluffton, a 105 acres park with 1.5 miles of mowed grass trails along Little Riley Creek.
The Village council’s second regular meeting of November featured routine business matters, with only a few curve balls thrown in. But that's what makes it worth attending. At the November Board of Education meeting for the Bluffton Exempted Village Schools, the 2023-2024 School Calendar was established, providing a total of 180 days of instruction and 3 days of Staff Service. The full calendar is attached and highlights are below.
