The 24th annual Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce Blaze of Lights is Saturday, Nov. 27. Here is the latest information about this year's festival.

As you know, after the Blaze of Lights this fall, another big event is coming up. The 150 years of progress, Bluffton's sesquicentennial, will be held June 24 to July 2, 2011.

At the current time we need people to contact Terry Mullenhour and volunteer to design and embroidery a quilt square. She has the squares available and the information for the sesquicentennial quilt.

A six-point buck crashed through the front window of Luke's Bar and Grill, North Main Street, around 3 p.m., spent 30 seconds in the bar, and exited quickly from an open back door that Luke's employee Roy Rayl opened for it.

The first-ever Christmas in Pandora craft show is planned for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 4, in Parsons Auto Service showroom, 920 Basinger Road.

Space is limited, so planners of the event suggest interested perrsons register as soon as possible.

The Inn at Ohio Northern University is offering a special Thanksgiving Tea Celebration on Saturday, Nov. 27, from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Inn.

This Thanksgiving Tea offers friends and family an opportunity to enjoy special time together over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Patrons will enjoy the tea, food and the beautiful atmosphere of The Inn while taking the time to reflect, reconnect and relax.

Bluffton Relay for Life will hold a committee meeting at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 10, in the community room (third floor) of the town hall.

This meeting is open to anyone interested on being on the 2011 Relay Planning Committee.
