Has to be a zip code. That means it's probably a postmaster's plate. We spotted this plate in 45817 land, but our hunch is that this one belongs somewhere in Hancock County.

No frost yet, but it was close on Oct. 16

The rain in Bluffton falls mainly...it rained a bit over the past seven days, according to Guy Verhoff, Pandora weather observer. The rain wasn't much, a little over one-half inch over three days.

Here are the highs, lows and precipitation report for the past seven days. (It has yet to freeze, but it came close on the 16th.)

Holiday session of youth programs, after school sport leagues starts soon at BFR

Beginning the week of Oct. 25, area youth may participate in a variety of sport and movement programs at BFR Sports & Fitness.

Children in kindergarten through grade 2 can choose from basketball (Thurs. 3:30PM) and football (Tues. 3:30PM) skills classes. Dodgeball continues on Fridays at 3:30PM for youth in kindergarten through grade 8.
