(BLUFFTON) - Four runs in the top of the seventh proved to be the difference as Crestview topped Bluffton in a Northwest Conference baseball affair Monday evening.
Tied 1-1 entering the seventh, the Knights plated four runs to take the lead.
Dakota Bricker had two of Bluffton’s six hits while Braeden Edwards had one hit and one run scored for the Pirates. Bluffton is now 2-3 overall and 1-1 in NWC play.

(LEIPSIC) - Bluffton softball improved to 6-2 on the season with a dramatic 2-1 road victory. Libby Schaadt belted a go ahead home run in the sixth. She also dominated the Vikings from the center circle, striking out 15 batters and limiting the hosts to just two hits on the night.

Those Pirate spring sports teams did not compete against Mother Nature. Instead they faced traditional spring opponents. After the weekend came to a close, BHS teams looked pretty good.

Justin Haggard turned in a win in first singles but Defiance took the remaining matches and defeated Bluffton 4-1 in boys tennis Monday afternoon. The Pirates are now 1-2 in match play.
Sophomore Libby Schaadt had a big afternoon for the Bluffton softball team as the Pirates defeated both visiting Elida and Mother Nature for a 4-1 victory. With the field snow covered at day break, the win was much needed for the Pirates who had not played in a week.

(MCCOMB) - The Bluffton baseball team dropped their opening game of the 2018 season by a 9-6 count to McComb.
Drew Rayle and Kaden Reneker each had two singles for Bluffton. Brady Romick knocked in two runs for the Pirates. Aaron Belcher took the loss on the mound.
