The Sunday school classes of First Mennonite Church will hold a Christmas program at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14. The church is located at 101 S. Jackson St., Bluffton.

Classes of various age groups will contribute to the program with vocal and instrumental performances, stories, as well as congregational singing of seasonal carols.

Refreshments will be available in Fellowship Hall following the program.

All are invited to attend.

The children and middle school youth of English Lutheran Church will present a musical "The Christmas Animals," by Genie and Troy Nilsson at 10:15 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 14. (Please note that the normal schedule is reversed for this Sunday only: Sunday School at 9 a.m. and worship and the Christmas musical at 10:15 a.m.)

All are invited to "experience the joy and wonder of the Christmas story told from the unique perspective of the animal kingdom."

The Pandora United Methodist Church will be hosting a free community meal on Wednesday, Dec. 17 from 5:30-7 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, 108 E. Washington Street, Pandora. The meal this month is provided by Hilty Home of Pandora. The menu will be BBQ ribs, parsley red potatoes, vegetable, roll, strawberry shortcake, and beverage.

Ebenezer Mennonite Church Children’s Christmas program will be presented at 7 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 14, in the CMC.  The church is located at 8905 Columbus Grove Road, Bluffton.  An afterglow will be held following the program.  Everyone is invited.

Mount Cory United Methodist Church will hold "Heaven Came Down," a display of angels and nativity scenes from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. December 6 and 13, and 1-5 p.m. December 7 and 14 at the Bethel Family Life Center.

The church is located at 201 West Washington Street, Mount Cory. This event is open to the public and is free of charge.

 

 The churches of Pandora and Gilboa are offering food boxes for households in the Pandora-Gilboa School District.  The boxes are designed to provide nine meals for a family of four. 

In order to pick up a box, you must register by calling 419-384-3038 by 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15.  Boxes will be available to be picked up on  Saturday, Dec. 20 at 11 a.m. at Grace Mennonite Church, 502 East Main Street, Pandora.

Note that pickup is a week earlier than usual due the the Christmas Holiday.
