The Pandora United Methodist Church will be hosting a free Community Meal on Wednesday May 29 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, 108 E. Washington Street, Pandora.  

The meal this month is provided by RW Transportation. The menu is scalloped potatoes, ham, green bean casserole, cookie and beverage.

A Dan Amstutz memorial ride to raise money for the Bill Glass prison ministry is set for 1 p.m., Saturday, June 8, according to sponsors of the event at St. John Mennonite Church, Pandora.

Amstutz, a life-long community resident died Oct. 15, 2018.

A suggested ride donation is $35 per bike, which includes a memorial patch. The ride begins at St. John Mennonite Church, 15988 Road 4, Pandora. It ends at Rita's Dairy Bar, Grand Rapids.

Habitat for Humanity's ReStore will hold a "fill the truck" event from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, May 11, in the parking lot between Bluffton High School and First Mennonite Church.

Volunteers will accept good, new and used cabinets, sinks, plumbing, building supplies, windows, doors, appliances, office supplies, furniture, electrical, tools, toys and similar items.

(No mattresses, box springs, clothing or books, please.)

Items collected will be sold at ReStore, 550 W. Elm St., Lima.

Bluffton Presbyterian Church will hold at bake sale on Saturday, May 11, at 9 a.m. The sale takes place under the tent at the front of the church. Proceeds to go towards missions.

 

English Lutheran Church, Bluffton, invite the community to a benefit taco bar meal  for the Dakota Dunn family, Sunday, May 5, from noon to 2 p.m. in the church fellowship hall.

Dakota Dunn is being treated for brain cancer. He is married to Emily (a Bluffton High School graduate, and daughter of Brad and Chris Setzer of Bluffton), and they have a son, Cooper.

All donations received at the benefit meal will help the family with medical bills.

English Lutheran Church, 111 Grove St., has accessible parking off of South  Jackson Street.
