The next Maple Crest Senior Living, 700 Maple Court, Bluffton, Sunday buffet is Feb. 16, according to Daren Lee, director of Maple Crest.

The menu includes:
• Yankee post roast with carrots and potatoes
• Baked chicken in a parmesan sauce with artichokes and tomatoes
• Wild rice pilaf
• Scalloped corn
• Dinner rolls
• Peach pie
• Coffee and iced tea.

The buffet is in the Patio Room at Maple Crest from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is open to all adults 55 and older at a cost of $7.50 per person.

In wintry weather that continues to be far more suitable for Polar Bears than for Beavers, the Bluffton University men’s and women’s track and field team traveled to Ohio Northern University on Saturday, Feb. 8, to compete in the Joe Banks Invitational. It was another day of school records and personal bests for the Beavers.

The organizational meeting of the Bluffton council Sidewalk Appeals Board that was scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 4, was cancelled due to weather.

The meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 11, at 5 p.m. in the town hall.
 

The Bluffton Child Development Center, 325 County Line Road, Bluffton, has openings for infants, according to Lauren Osting, director.

Here's the Valentine’s dinner feature at Mustard Seed Cafe.

Mustard Seed Café, 562 N. Main St., Bluffton, is open 5-8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings with a full menu which includes 7 appetizers, 8 main course items, soups, salads and house-baked desserts.  Beer and beer cocktails are available.
