A soup lunch benefit for Don and Brenda Ernst's ministry in Alaska is planned this month by the Pleasant View United Methodit Church. The couple is addiing an addition to their church in Alaska.
The event is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, at the church, 300 Township Road 37, Bluffton.
The menu includes soup, bread, dessert and beverages. The cost of the meal is a donation.
Ten Thousand Villages, 115 S. Main St., Bluffton, has a one gem of a jewelry sale going on now through April 22, according to Aphaphanh Nussbaum, manager.
The shop offers 25 percent off select jewelry, scarves, bags and other accessories during the sale.

Spanish Club: The Spanish club will meet at Tu Pueblo on Tuesday, April 9th at 6:00. Also, ALL MEMBERS are asked to meet in the Spanish room THIS FRIDAY 4/5 at the beginning of 5A to order tshirts and to discuss upcoming events. This will be a very quick meeting. Gracias!!
