Chamber gets update on Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio 2012 projects
Bluffton chamber members will hear an update on projects underway this year at Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio during Friday's Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce breakfast.
A complete, free breakfast is served starting at 7 a.m. with the meeting starting at 7:30 a.m. in the third floor of the town hall.
Among MHCO projects underway include the Green House Project, with construction changing daily across from Maple Crest on Augsburger Road.
Several other items are on Friday's agenda:
o Update on this summer's flowerpot program sponsored by Stratton's Greenhouses
o Update on May 12 downtown arts and crafts festival
o Update on downtown merchant plans for 2012. The first meeting of the group took place Feb. 27. A second meeting is at 7:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 27, at Jeanne's Kitchen.
In addition, several new members will be introduced. The chamber has a new membership drive underway. Eleven new members have joined the chamber so far during the drive. Bluffton chamber's membership is at 158.
