Kaye Elwood was a member of County Line Church of the Brethren
Kaye E. Elwood, 79, died August 5, 2015, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
Kaye was born May 11, 1936, in Columbus Grove to Richard and M. Virginia (Lora) Staley who preceded her in death. On Feb. 23, 1957, she married Herbert Elwood and he survives.
Kaye had worked at Stratton Greenhouse, Bluffton. She was a member of County Line Church of the Brethren, Ada.
Survivors also include two sons Clair (Leona) Elwood of Mt. Cory, Dale (Sandie) Elwood of Findlay; two daughters Tanna (Rick) Pate and Tenna (M. Gary) Tuttle both of Findlay; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a sister in law Linda Staley of Lima; a niece Tonya Ridenour of Lima; and an aunt Wilma Lora of Columbus Grove.
She was preceded in death by a brother Dale Kent Staley and a sister, Karen Ridenour.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday Aug. 10, at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Rev. Tom Dearth officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton following the service.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
