Keeping Active and Get Fit for Life programs start soon at BFR
Bluffton Family Recreation launches the new year with two programs for persons interested in keeping fit, according to Joseph Beagle, BFR director.
Keeping Active
BFR and St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, team up to coordinate Keeping Active, a program that runs from Jan. 18 to Feb. 26.
This program offers free fitness, physical activities, nutrition and general wellness events.
Beagle said that the program is for adults and youth.
Get Fit for Life
This is a six-week program that includes working one-on-one with a health coach. It enables participants to set an exercise plan and track personal goals. Week 1 includes self-directed exercise, weeks 2 to 5 include personalized training sessions, weekly evaluation and self-directed exercise. The final week includes a progress review and future planning.
