Wonderfully Made Boutique opens on Main Street
As a young girl, Meg Opperman came to Bluffton with her parents to attend movies at the Shannon Theatre, in the winter to view the Blaze of Lights and throughout the year for shopping.
On Saturday, the Lima resident became a Main Street business owner. She opened Wonderfully Made Boutique, housed in the front of the former Bluffton News storefront at 101 N. Main St.
The business offers women’s clothing, foot ware and accessories. And, with its soft opening on Saturday, the shop has had a steady stream of customers.
The shop’s website describes the business this way:
Wonderfully Made Boutique is a trendy and affordable boutique …. We pride ourselves on helping customers discover their personal style all while staying on a budget.
“We also own a store by the same name in Wapakoneta, which opened in March of 2016,” she said. “I like small towns and find that Bluffton is so similar to Wapakoneta.”
The Wapakoneta store is located at 18 W. Auglaize St.
Meg adds that another Bluffton business owner approached her about opening a storefront in Bluffton. “This location sort of fell into our laps. We are very happy being here,” she added.
Specifically, the boutique offers Kan Can denim jeans and Ruby’s Rubbish, scriptural t-shirts.
It also has a nice selection of t-shirts, sweaters, business casual, dresses, outer ware, denims, skirts, jewelry and foot ware.
“Our customers include a wide age range from teens to retirees,” said Meg.
Bluffton and Wapakoneta stores have the same store hours:
Tuesdays through Fridays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A grand opening is planned later. Meg and her husband, Aron, are parents of three children, Beckett, 8, Knox, 7, and Piper 3.
