Jack L. Steiner worked for the Lima Ford Engine Plant

BEAVERDAM--Jack L. Steiner, 76, passed away September 7, 2023 at his residence. Jack was born November 22, 1946 in Bluffton to the late Harold and Lucille (Shafer) Steiner. On April 21, 1979 he married Angela Hartman Steiner and she survives.
Jack was a graduate of Pandora-Gilboa High School and served in the United States Navy from 1967 -1970. He retired from the Lima Ford Engine Plant and had previously worked with his father at Steiner Tractor Sales in Pandora. Jack was a member of the Reformed Mennonite Church, Bluffton. He enjoyed tinkering especially on his tractors, was very handy even making his own log splitter and spending time with his dogs.
Survivors include his wife, Angela Steiner of Beaverdam; three children, Sarah (Nathan) Moyer of Findlay, Stephen (Karen) Steiner of Indianapolis, Indiana, John Steiner of Bullhead City, Arizona; two grandsons, Isaiah Moyer and Elijah Moyer both of Findlay; and four siblings, Larry (Sharon) Steiner of Pandora, Nancy (Jim) Myers of Fayette, Ohio, Jean (Doug) Huffer of Lima and Marvin (Launita) Steiner of Pandora.
Jack's services will begin at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at the Reformed Mennonite Church, Bluffton. Pastor Jim Basinger officiating. Burial will be in Reformed Mennonite Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Reformed Mennonite Church or to the family to benefit his grandson's college education that was very important to Jack.
