Pirate boys soccer felled by Botkins in tourney final

The visiting Bluffton High School boys soccer team lost 3-0 at Botkins Tuesday evening, September 12, in the championship game of the delayed Elida Classic Kick-off tournament.
Bluffton dropped to 2-5-1 with the defeat.
The Trojans improved to 4-1-1 overall with the win. It marks the first time in three tries that Botkins has won the Elida tourney crown.
The tournament final was postponed by bad weather in late August.
Rylyn Paul led the Trojans to victory with two goals and one assist. Reis Aselage also scored a goal, and Evan Grieves added one assist.
Bluffton visits WBL foe Kenton (5-2-1) Saturday evening, September 16.
