Apollo Career Center will award a new car to one lucky student with perfect attendance.

The event takes place, Wednesday, May 25 at approximately 9:40 a.m., in the Apollo Commons. It is a reverse drawing of sorts, and at the end two students will each be handed a set of keys.

One set will start the car, and the runner-up receives a new computer. Several businesses businesses donated prizes to this year's perfect attendees.

The school year is coming to a close, which means that if you have young children, you are now one year closer to college days - and college bills. Krysti's Music Studio has three recitals coming up. Each recital features different performers and pieces.

Recitals are held at Rockport United Methodist Church (5505 Rockport Rd, Columbus Grove address). The recitals are free and open to the public.

"Come listen to some great music and support these students who have been working so hard to prepare their pieces," said Krysti.

Book ReViews, 123 S. Main St., will hold a "really big sidewalk book sale," during the Saturday, May 21, arts and crafts show.

During the sale hardbacks are $1, paperbacks are 50 cents and children's books are 25 cents.
