Bluffton will be abuzz with garage sale activity the weekend of May 19, 20, and 21, when the Friends of the Bluffton Public Library are hosting the third annual Community Garage Sale.
Ten Thousand Villages, South Main Street, invites Icon viewers to visit its shop during the Saturday, May 21, arts and crafts festival, says Aphaphanh Nussbaum, store manager.
"Come visit our store during the arts and crafts festival to savor flavors of the Caribbean," she said. "Come sample our coffee and new chocolates, from 10 a.m. until the supplies last. Twenty percent of our sales on Saturday will be donated to the work of Mission Possible in Haiti."

Four Bluffton University alums, better known as Bluffton Biking Beavers, conquered the 50th annual Tour of Scioto River Valley (TOSRV) earlier this month.
The four bikers are Everett Collier, Mitch Kingley, Wendell Miller all of Bluffton, and Gary Habeger, Bluffton University alum, from Berne, Ind.
This year's 210-mile round-trip tour from Columbus to Portsmouth commemorated the 50th year since 1962 when a father and son decided to make the trip.
Elizabeth Diller, senior, is the Bluffton High School April student of the month. Diller carries a 4.0 grade point average. She is a member of the high school Concert Choir, Show Choir, Band, Math Club, Drama Club, Renaissance Committee, National Honor Society and is an SOS tutor.
In addition, she is a member of the high school girls' tennis team and the summer Bluffton swim team. She has also performed in the District III honors choir. She has taken post-secondary classes at Bluffton University. Elizabeth is a member of the Grace Mennonite, Pandora, youth group.
BFR Sports and Fitness invites all community members to join it in Ohio's seventh statewide" Healthy Ohio Fitness Walk," according to Carole Enneking, BFR director.The fitness walk takes place at BFR Sports & Fitness all day Wednesday, May 18.
"The challenge to all Ohioans is to collectively walk100,000 miles this day! Let's do our part as a community and participate in a 20- minute one-mile walk, to help reach this goal," said Ennneking.Each participant will receive refreshments and plenty of drinking water.

Note that Tuffy didn't have a beard. Did he not grow one for the Centennial, or is this is posed photo taken just after the celebration ended and he's already shaved at home and the Mericle brothers have come in to get their beards shaved?
The Lady Pirates took a 17-9 loss to Arlington in stride Friday night, as Coach Gillett and the ladies mixed it up a bit.
The Pirates got on the board first, as Molly Lengyel singled to bring in Shannon McKamey from third. Arlington batted in two runs in the first to lead 2-1.
Mariah Welch started off the 2nd inning for the Pirates with a rip to center field for a double. Katie Palte blasted a double down third baseline to score Welch.
Twelve members of the Bluffton Lions Club complete the spring Adopt-a-Roadway community service project on Saturday morning, May 14, by collecting litter and other debris along County Road 313 between Hancock/Allen County Line and State Route 235.

"The Bluffton Lions twice a year, in the spring and fall, conducts this community service to help keep America beautiful," said Dick Ramseyer.
The Bluffton Lions Club chartered in 1934 by Lions Clubs International and has 80 members.
