Thirty-four works in various media by Ohio artist Chris Leeper will be displayed in the Ellen Nelson Gallery of ArtSpace/Lima beginning Friday, June 9, according to Bill Sullivan.
The exhibit will run through Saturday, July 22. There will be a reception for the artist on Sunday, July 16, from 2 to 4 p.m.
Leeper is a prominent Ohio painter and watercolorist and resident in Canfield. He is a member of the adjunct faculty in the Department of Art at Youngstown State University.
"Talking to loved ones about death is always difficult," said Tonya Meyer, Bluffton Senior Citizens Center director.
The Center hosts an End of Life Seminar at 6 p.m., Thursday, June 8, to help enable these discussions. "This seminar is intended for seniors and their families. Come when you can and stay as long as you like," said Meyer.
The evening includes presentations from attorneys, accountants, funeral directors and other professionals. These speakers are available to chat one-on-one plus speaking on the following topics:

The animated movie "Sing" will be shown at 9:15 p.m., Friday, June 16.

Bluffton Relay for Hope will hold a picnic on the lawn from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sunday, June 4, on the Bluffton Presbyterian Church lawn, according to Lynda Best.
The event includes grilled hamburger or hot dog, potato salad, chips and cookies for $6. Drinks are also available and are extra.

The Blanchard River Watershed Partnership is sponsoring a river clean-up in Ottawa on Saturday, May 20.
Volunteers interested in helping remove trash and debris from the river are invited to meet at Arrow Head Park, 615 West Main St., Ottawa, at 9 a.m. The event ends at noon.
Buckets, trash containers and drinking water will be provided. Volunteers are asked to bring their own personal protective gear for working along the riverbank. Additional information can be found at www.blanchardriver.org.
