Living in Bluffton

From the Bluffton PTO Facebook page:

"Chores were done, piggy banks emptied and the generous hearts of our youngest community members donated over $1,400 to the new soccer park!!!

"The food pantry received a truck bed full of items as well! Thank you Bluffton elementary students and staff!"

The Village of Bluffton has updated information on the EMS department on its website, Bluffton-Ohio.com. The current EMS roster and Lifetime Members are listed below. The web page also includes a letter from Chief Jan Basinger and information on the use of Personal Health Information.

TITLE

Sports Policy: 2024-2025 Season when attending MS & HS sporting Events:

Due to safety concerns for our student body and spectators at our Boys and Girls basketball games, this is our [Bluffton Exempted Village Schools] sports policy:

Students in grades K-5 will need to be in a seat in the stands with an adult, parent or guardian.

Junior High students may sit at the top of the designated student section or in a seat in the stands.

From December 9-18, Bluffton Elementary School will be conducting a "Cans and Coins" community service project with two goals: to collect items for the food pantry and collect money for community needs.

This year, the coin collection will benefit the new Village of Bluffton park on Snider Rd. that will include a soccer complex.

All coins will go in the jug by the front entrance. All food items will go on/under the table by the front entrance.

If the tub is filled with money one time time, principal Kori Bernal will surprise students with "something fun and crazy."

PEACE POSTER COMPETITION
Three Peace Poster winners and their teacher provided information on their art projects. This is a world-wide project for students ages 11 through 13.

The theme this year was “Peace Without Limits”. For 30 years clubs around the world have been sponsoring an art contest in schools and youth groups. Creating peace posters gives children the chance to express their vision of peace. ▶︎
