Mother Nature promises a sunny day for Saturday's arts and crafts show
The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce bought a "Sunny Day" card from Mother Nature. That means that the 40th annual Bluffton Arts and Crafts Show will have sunny weather on Saturday, May 21.
This year's show includes over 60 crafters and Bluffton businesses displaying their products. Show hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Main Street between the town hall and the Bluffton Post Office.
Here's the line up for this year's event, in addition to craft booths:
Several Main Street businesses will have business booths in front of their stores. The following businesses will also have displays:

oCellular Central - Verizon
oCommunity Markets
oDiller Medical
oKrysti's Music Studio
oMennonite Home Communities of Ohio
oM2 Interiors and Designs
oStratton's Greenhouses
In addition, Book ReViews will have a sidewalk book sale. Ten Thousand Villages will have a Caribbean food booth in the morning until supplies last. (Check out the display ads for these businesses inside The Icon.)
Also, three non-profit Allen County agencies will have booths:

Concession food vendors, located at the north end of the show, near the town hall include:
oAmigos Mexican Food - tacos, tastadas, tamales, burritos, nacho grande, quesadillas
oGyro Corner - gyros chicken and beef, tenderloins, fries, mini funnel cakes, baklava
oMonster/Snow Shaved Ice - monster drinks and snow shaved ice
oRoyale Coffee Co. - coffee, tea, coffee cakes
oS&S Concessions - ribbon fries, chicken wraps, tenderloin wraps, pizzaburger wraps
oLocated at The Sports Warehouse is Country Kettle Corn
oLocated on the Bluffton Presbyterian Church lawn is Lugibihl Ice Cream
oBluffton Senior Citizens will have food available during the show
oBluffton Presbyterian Church will have food available during the show
Entertainment:
Musical entertainment will be located at the corner of Main and Cherry. Common Grounds is in charge of entertainment. During the morning the following groups will perform:
oBluffton High School Show Choir - 10 a.m.
oBluffton High School Jazz Band - 10:30 a.m.
oPhillip Murphy - 11 a.m.
Other activities:
oHard Rock Llama Co., of rural Bluffton will have an exhibit of their llamas, located in front of Ten Thousand Villages
oHickle Pony Rides of Mt. Blanchard, will have a pony ride located near the farmer's market
oThe Bluffton Farmer's Market will be open from 8:30 a.m. to noon in the parking lot between Citizens National Bank and the Bluffton Post Office.
Restrooms in the first floor of the town hall will be open. In addition, a Bluffton Aeration Services port-a-pot will be located on Cherry Street near the alley.
Streets will be blocked of on Main between Elm and the post office from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
