The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce has announced its September programming. The 2011-12 program will begin on Friday, Sept. 9, with the first of nine or possibly 10 monthly breakfasts.
Bluffton native and Allen County Common Pleas Judge Richard Warren is the kickoff speaker for the 2011-12. The first meeting of the season is Friday, Sept. 9, in the third floor of the town hall. Richland Manor will provide breakfasts again. Breakfast will be served at 7 a.m. The program begins at 7:30 a.m.

Recognize: Everett Collier, retired Bluffton postmaster
Recognize: Gary Kirtland, 40 years in business
Introduce: Rick Schaublin, officer in charge of the Bluffton post office
(He is the Columbus Grove postmaster)
Introduce: Fortman Insurance Services, new Bluffton business and new chamber member

In addition, the chamber will hold its annual Bluffton University business showcase. That event is Thursday, Sept. 22. Participating businesses may have a table to display their products to Bluffton University students over the Sept. 22 lunch hour at Marbeck Center.
