Bluffton police release July public docket

Bluffton Police Department Public Docket

July 1
-Officers took a civil complaint from an Ada resident who stated that her ex-husband was not following a child custody agreement.
July 2
-Police stopped two juveniles out after curfew. After learning it was not the first time they were discovered out after curfew, charges were filed in Allen County Juvenile Court.
-Officers arrested Desiree Young, 27, Napoleon, for DUS following a traffic stop on S. Main St. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
July 3
-Zachary Niese, 19, Pandora was arrested for OVI following a traffic stop on County Line Rd for a turn signal violation. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.
-Police responded to a Cherry St. residence in response to a Domestic Violence complaint. Upon investigation, a 16-year-old female was arrested for Domestic Violence. The case is pending in Allen County Juvenile Court.
July 4
-Officer's arrested Desiree Young, 27, Napoleon for DUS following a traffic stop on SR 103. This case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.
-Officers took a theft complaint from a Westland Dr. resident.
- Officers took a civil complaint from an Ada resident who stated that her ex-husband was not following a child custody agreement.
-A South Jackson St. resident reported a stove had been stolen from beside his garage.
July 5
-Police arrested Douglas Inmon, 39, Dunkirk, for OVI following a traffic stop on SR 103. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.
July 06
-A SR 103 business reported someone had caused damage to a door on the building.
July 7
-A N. Jackson St. resident reported unknown persons had placed numerous cellular lights in her yard that did not belong to her. Several residents in the area reported unknown persons had stolen lights from their property. They were able to recover their lights from the police department.
-Officers recovered a stolen license plate on SR 103.
July 8
-Police took a menacing complaint from a Birch Court resident.
July 9
-Police arrested Breanna Dunlap, 18, Spencerville, for OVI following a traffic stop on Jefferson St. for a speeding and lanes of travel violation. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
-A S. Main St. reported that he had been a victim of a fraud where he was asked to cash a check and send part of the money back to the business issuing the check.
July 10
-Police arrested Treasa Benner, 34, Ada, on an outstanding warrant from Findlay Municipal Court.
July 11
-An Ada resident reported unknown persons had cut the lock on the storage unit on SR 103 and stolen several items from the unit.
July 12
-Officers received a complaint of underage consumption at a N. Main St. residence.
-Officers took a Criminal Damaging complaint from a SR 103 business.
July 13
-A Jefferson St. resident reported that she was being harassed by a family member.
July 16
-An Ada resident reported that her purse was stolen while visiting friends at an Eastland Dr. residence.

July 17
-Officers responded to a non-injury traffic crash in the 100 Block of W. Kibler St. Elizabeth Sampson, 26, Bluffton, was issued a citation for driving with an expired license and a lanes of travel violation. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
-A Thurman St. resident reported that a cement truck had struck a phone line attached to her house and caused damage to the siding on the residence.
-Officers located a juvenile walking on I-75 near mile marker 141. After further investigation it was discovered that the juvenile was reported missing from Putnam County.
-A Forest resident reported the theft of a cell phone.
July 18
-Officers responded to a S. Main St. business in response to a report of a fight in the parking lot.
-Officers responded to a non-injury traffic crash in the 100 Block of E. College Ave. Aniceto Palacios, 16, Findlay was issued a citation for reasonable control and that case is pending in Hancock County Juvenile Court.
July 19
-Police arrested Angela Wyatt, 40, Bluffton for DUS following a traffic stop on N. Main St. for a speeding violation. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
July 20
-A Garmatter St. resident reported that his ex-girlfriend had entered his house without permission and assaulted him.
-A Quarry Dr. business reported someone had passed a bad check at the business.
-A W. Elm St. resident reported that an unknown person had stolen the stereo out of his vehicle while it was parked on the street.
July 21
-A Sunset Dr. resident reported telephone harassment to police.
July 23
-Police assisted Hancock County Sheriff's Office with a Breaking and Entering complaint at a CR 313 business.

July 25
-Officers responded to a N. Main St. business in regards to a Breaking and Entering complaint.
July 26
-A S. Main St. resident reported the theft of lawn ornaments from his front yard.
July 29
-A Garmatter St. resident reported receiving harassing phone calls from an ex-girlfriend.
-A N. Lawn Ave. resident reported that someone had stolen a stepping stone from the rear of his property.
