Bluffton Family Recreation invites youth to its Pancakes and Pajamas warm winter fun kid's night out from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, Dec. 14, according to Daniel Tinch, executive director.
The event is for youth ages 4 to 12. Ages 3 and under are welcome if a parent or care giver stays with the youth during the event.
The evening includes a night of crafts, activities, games and pancakes. Cost is $10 for members and $20 for program participants.

Classes are in four-week sessions, and all adult fitness classes are free for members.

Bluffton Family Recreation now has two certified TRX Sports Medicine trainers, according to Daniel Tinch, BFR executive director.
The two, Jamie Nygaard and Britny Zwiebel, advanced from their previous TRX qualifications to the trainer level with classwork taken this summer.
BFR offers TRX classes Mondays through Fridays at 5:30 a.m. and also weekday evenings.
In mid-August BFR opened its Mercy Health Fitness Studio in the former mezzanine area overlooking the indoor soccer court. TRX classes are held in the studio.
