Lots of adult class options this fall at Bluffton Family Recreation; newsletter now on Icon

Bluffton Family Recreation isn't just for youth. The fall fitness class schedule for adults is now available, according to Joseph Beagle, BFR director.

Class opportunities range from all-star workouts, water exercise, Aqua Zumba, cardio and strength building, SilverSneakers, yoga, to strength and flexibility.

Classes are offered at various times Mondays through Fridays.

The September, October and November Bluffton Family Recreation newsletter is now on the Icon.

The newsletter lists programs from youth through adults. In addition, indoor soccer information is included, as well as membership prices.

2015-16 BFR indoor soccer league sign-ups underway

Indoor soccer league sign-ups for 2015-16 are underway at Bluffton Family Recreation, according to Joseph Beagle, director. League play is available for U8 all the way to adult competition.

BFR announces fall youth program schedule

Bluffton Family Recreation announces that registration is underway for youth fall programming, according to Joseph Beagle, director. There are two sessions of six weeks each.

Session 1 begins the third week of September and continues until Friday, Oct. 23. Session 2 begins the first week of November and continues until Friday, Dec. 4.

U6 outdoor soccer registration continues at BFR

U6 outdoor soccer registration is now underway at Bluffton Family Recreation. U6 is for youth who have turned 4, but were under 6 by Aug. 1, 2015.

Practice begins Tuesday, Sept. 1, and games start Tuesday, Sept. 8.

Teams will be coached by parents. Players will learn basic foot skills and game play in this introductory soccer skill league. Games will be small-sided without a goalkeeper (5 vs. 5 play).
