Please notice: Due to unforeseen circumstances, "Earth Day Music," with One in a Number: The Bluffton Women's Choir, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 26 @ 6:00 pm. Come celebrate Earth Day a little late with some music on the library's main floor.

Also, "Green Building Techniques" with Andy Chappell-Dick has been cancelled until further notice. Interested in seeing this program? Let us know so we may plan accordingly.

We thank you for your understanding.

The annual spring tea of the Bluffton Public Library will be April
28, beginning at 5:45 p.m. Tickets cost $12 and are available at the library. The
speaker will be past Bluffton University football coach and author Carlin
Carpenter. A light supper is included.

Please notice: the library will close on Friday, April 15 for staff development. Due dates are adjusted accordingly.

Playgroup, a program for infants, babies, and toddlers, will return on April 1, 8, 22, and 29 at 10 a.m.  Make a play date and the library will provide the space and toys!  (Registration is not required for this month’s Playgroup sessions.)

Do you have plans for Sunday at 3pm? Now you do! Thanks to the generosity of Lima Express, we have 50 tickets to give away! Stop by the front desk today from 3:15-5:15 and tomorrow from 9:30-1:30 and tell the staff "I'm here to exercise my mind." for a free ticket. (While supplies last.)

By now, you’ve noticed our signs about town.  Each one exclaims, “Vote for your library,” and with this article, we’re here to explain why.

Bluffton Public Library currently has a 1-mil tax levy in place, which supports everyday operations.  This came at a time when our library so desperately needed the support.
