Ada Rotarians get an inside peek at the Icons

On Tuesday Ada Rotary members heard an update on the Bluffton Icon's sister publication, Ada Icon, from Fred Steiner, owner, and Monty Siekerman, editor.

The Ada Icon, now in its fifth year, is a household name in Ada. Since Jan. 1 of this year the Ada Icon has had 74,958 views from 33,481 individual viewers.

There are two Icons: Ada and Bluffton. Each cover the school districts in their viewship.

Sardines at league meet in Kenton

The Bluffton Sardines swim team and all their fans are in Kenton Friday and Saturday. It's the Western Ohio Aquatic League meet.

Do you have a lost rooster?

Are you missing a rooster? The Ada police department has a rooster that needs to be relocated to a farm home. 

We have no idea how it got to Ada and if anyone can assist in taking the rooster, please call the Ada Police Department at 419-634-0010, Phone Option #2.

Bluffton police receive over 500 calls for service in June

Third month in a row of 500+ calls; that nearly 20 per day

The Bluffton Police Department report that calls for service numbered above 500 for the third month in a row. In June the department had 537 total calls for service, which is an average of 17.9 calls per day.
